Visual Culture Research Center<\/strong> and Political Critique<\/strong> invite you to the presentation of publishing project \u201cPOLITICAL PROPAGANDA\u201d, which will take place on Friday, 5 June, at 19:00.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oksana Shalygina, Petr Pavlensky and Viktoria Bavykina will present the \u201cPOLITICAL PROPAGANDA\u201d publishing house. \u201cPOLITICAL PROPAGANDA\u201d is an independent information platform, which covers problems of contemporary art in political context. Particular attention will be drawn to the latest issue of the same-name magazine. \u201cThis issue tells the brutal story of victim production plant. Sexual exploitation, free labour, and funding of their possessors is something that the victims are forced to do in the process of reworking\u201d. \u2013 PP. The \u201cplant\u201d example and personal life experience will help the editors to explain why is personal always political.<\/p>\n

Oksana Shalygina<\/strong> is a publisher and editor-in chief of \u201cPOLITICAL PROPAGANDA\u201d publishing house. Petr Pavlensky<\/strong> is an artist. Viktoria Bavykina<\/strong> is a head of \u201cPOLITICAL PROPAGANDA\u201d publishing house.<\/p>\n

The lecture will take place at Visual Culture Research Center within the frameworks of the exhibition \u201cSome Say You Can Find Happiness There\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cExploitation of the Imaginary\u201d<\/strong> project (May 20 \u2013 June 15, 2015).<\/p>\n
